Neighborhood Amenities

  • The riparian corridor, a protected 2000-foot-long and 350-foot-wide forest and waterway, is a natural treasure along the eastern border of the Reserve. This natural treasure is the foundation upon which the Reserve is designed.
  • The neighborhood layout is the result of designers and planners cooperating to minimize impact to the riparian corridor and utilize the commanding ridge to provide dramatic views in all directions.
  • A site landscape design that reflects the random natural selection of trees, native to Missouri, growing in the forest in a "social order", professionally designed by a nationally-known local landscape architectural firm, Moynihan and Associates.
  • An 8-foot-wide trail system branching throughout the neighborhood and into the riparian corridor is just minutes from every door. This path provides a healthy way to enjoy the majestic views and the natural landscape or just to walk and talk with family or friends.
  • Three meditation areas, amongst beautiful foliage and surrounded with rustic low stone walls, provide a restful place, off the trail, to enjoy the surroundings.
  • An overlook at the end of Pine Copse Path is at the trailhead above the riparian corridor and is a great place to meet family and friends before hiking to the future downtown Chesterfield, Chesterfield's Central Park or just to enjoy the views.
  • Pine Copse Path is an elegant understated entrance monument to the Reserve. This slowly rising, slightly curving and uninterrupted street is flanked by wide green spaces and graced with many groves of trees. The perspective of one entering the neighborhood will be to watch the tree trunks gently pass in front of them as they progress up the street. Finally, after reaching the pinnacle at the intersection of Maple Rise Path, the riparian corridor will come into view below the horizon.
  • Street architecture includes a rustic entry monument created with timeless materials of stone, slate and copper; beautifully artistic neighborhood identification signs at two locations; craftsman street lamps; artistic laser cut metal street signs and mail box stands.
  • "C" mix weathered concrete with Meramec sand brings a warm, natural color and lasting finish to the streets, curbs, trails and other concrete surfaces surrounding the homes.
  • City maintained concrete streets.
  • Irrigated lawn areas throughout the Reserve.
  • The Reserve Homeowners' Association with the professional management of a property manager attend to virtually all of the details of exterior maintenance:
  • Professional care of all common areas including entry monuments, trails in common areas, signage, lawns and landscaping.
  • Snow removal from trails, driveways, walks, and front porches.
  • Scheduled maintenance of exterior surfaces, including painting.
  • Reserve for the long term replacement of certain exterior components.
